Use with children:
All Primedic defibrillators have a special child button. If you have a child younger than 8 years and lighter than 25kg in front of you, this child button must be pressed. The defibrillator will then automatically switch to a "child protocol". The shock energy is automatically reduced and the adult electrodes can be used for "small" patients. Please note, however, that the placement of the electrodes is slightly different for children. Here, one electrode is stuck on the chest and one on the back.
